AjaXplorer 2.7.3 (3.0beta3)

Version 2.7.3 Change Log. Warning, this is a DEVELOPEMENT VERSION, not to be used in a production environnement!

[Server Architecture]
  • Using pre and post processors, no more uploader detection in fsAccess, but dedicated to plugins. Flex resource moved to plugin.
  • Allow and implement multiple post_ and pre_processing. Will be useful for implementing notification systems.
  • Clean conf.php and ConfService
  • Update put_content
  • Update plugin access.remote_fs to latest architecture.
  • Decode base64 data if necessary
  • Add « stat » to the API
  • Update tests : php version / check DOMXml is installed.
  • API Clean : replace open_with actions by get_content / put_content, move slideshow_sel inside diaporama plugin, update API doc.
  • Put compatibility functions inside a given file (sys_get_temp_dir and json_encode).
  • Should fix PHP 5.1 error.
  • Api 3.0
  • AllowRealSizeProbing defaulted to false, to avoid common shell_exec errors.
  • Differentiate postProcessor that capture or not the output.
[AjaX Client]
  • Load resources before evaluating code.
  • Redisplay BM menu after actions, remove « relative » positionning of toolbars to avoid IE positioning errors.
  • Handle labels display in location bar
  • Layout and i18n for search engine.
  • Save columns visibility, trigger the « ls » history client side instead of server side.
  • Improve columns resizing
  • Move template to plugin, added pluginName and pluginPath to get plugin templates
  • Fix double call to showDialogForm()
  • InfoPanel rework and MetaData impacts.
  • Visible columns menu.
  • At last fixed the IE7 crash on dragging!!
  • Chmod value input layout, force iFrame resizing for PixlrEditor in WebKit.
  • Add a timer before loading last remembered folder, to avoid « null » erratic errors
  • Pass current language to editor
  • i18n, handle a random seed on thumbnail source if the image is edited online.

  • Top Right « Close » button. Deferr the dialogOnOpen dialogOnComplete calls to real action.
  • Fix annoying window.alert() (alert only if cannot call ajaxplorer.displayMessage). Impact upload changes on remote_fs.
[Security]
  • Added AJXP_EXEC constant for 2.7.X security.
  • Add some index.html files to avoid server browsing. Would not replace a properly configured server…
  • Low-level security (ajxp_exec, index.html everywhere)

[Plugins]
  • Uploader, Logger, Metadata, Notifiers, etc are all plugins now. Quasi every feature can be a plugin.
  • – UPLOAD
    • Activate uploaders via plugin conf, no more « flash_upload_enabled » variable.
    • upload.flex : Use UPLOAD_COMPLETE_DATA event to retrieve error text (at last!)
    • Jumploader implementation (applet is not distributed with the application)
    • Jumploader : Indication for using jumploader as an FTP uploader, not very secure, so only indications are given.
    • Jumploader : Finally use an additional template in an iFrame, otherwise the applet/JS communication is not working good. Basic implementation of
    • partitionning (for access.fs only). ignore jar file
    • Move MultiUploader as plugin resource.
    • Fix non-flash uploader on second call.
  • – AUTH
    • Fix auth.remote for 2.7.X, and fix bug where users could be messed up by sessionSwitcher! Added some debug instruction.
  • – ACCESS
    • access.ftp : More robust ftp_fput.
  • – EDITORS
    • Pixrl : Exclude gif from editable, not supported by Pixlr editor for saving.
    • Do not send editor plugins to non-wrapper repositories
    • Pixlr editor integration
    • Basic Pixlr Editor integration, quite nice! Not finished yet. Implies a thumbnail « force reload » issue…
    • Implement viewer for PDF files (based on the ImageMagick implementation)
  • – METADATA
    • Basic implementation of metadata search passed to SearchEngine via ajxpOptions.
    • Define fields in the option, and associate an ultra-simple form generator to this.
    • Meta sources
    • ImagePreviewer is now also the metadata extractor for images (that’s nice!). Ultra-simple serial-based plugin for metadata (not enabled).
    • Basis for metadata hooks
  • – NOTIFY
    • Basic implementation of email notification. Plugin is not active by default.
  • – LOGGER
    • Port of the logger feature as a plugin (inspired by MoSen work)
